In Yako, about 100 km from Ouagadougou, beats the heart of the Earth Market born in 2020. An initiative born of the collaboration between Slow Food Burkina and APEDR, two organisations united in the fight for sustainable development through the promotion of agroecological practices and the protection of biodiversity.
From April 2024, the last Saturday of the month will be transformed into a riot of colours, flavours and values. The Yako Earth Market comes to life, offering a wide variety of ‘good, clean and fair’ agroecological products.
